The fourth AQR Conference, "The Art and Craft of Qualitative Research: Creativity and Critique", was held in July 2005 in Melbourne, Australia.

The third AQR Conference was held in July 2003 at Sydney, Australia.

The second AQR Conference, "Critical Issues in Qualitative Research", was held in July, 5-7, 2001 at Melbourne, Australia.

The first AQR Conference, "Issues of Rigour in Qualitative Research", was held in July, 8 -10, 1999 at Melbourne, Australia.
