We are seeking papers and alternative submissions-as in poems or other kinds of creative studies working synergistically with poetry-for this special issue of CAR. We are interested in submissions that extend the methodological possibilities of poetic inquiry studies across the social sciences. We are equally interested in poetic inquiry in action; that is, studies that creatively reflect the possibilities of working through poetry in a social science context. Finally, we are particularly interested in submissions that clearly reflect the themes of seeing, understanding and caring as key characteristics and conditions for poetic forms of inquiry.
