Message from the Executive - 2010

 

The start of a new decade

brings exciting developments for AQR.

 

Dr Julie White, of La Trobe University, has recently taken on the role of president of AQR and brings to the organisation a vision around qualitative endeavours that is informed by both conceptual and empirical perspectives.

The work of AQR is supported with the association’s publication Qualitative Research Journal (QRJ). A new editor has recently been appointed to the journal – Dr Mark Vicars of Victoria University. As a recent arrival to Australia from the UK, Mark offers a provocative stance to what can be counted on to promote and extend quality in qualitative research publication.
