Notes for Contributors

Contributions should be no longer than 6000 words, excluding abstract and references.

To submit a contribution find RMIT publishing on the web and follow the links to the Journal Management System where you can register as an author and submit your article. Contact the editor of QRJ if have queries about this.

The journal uses notes rather than footnotes. Australian, UK or USA spelling may be used. Other than spelling, the journal uses the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th edition, 2001.

Should double or single quotation marks be used? The journal goes against the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association and uses single quotation marks to enclose quotations in the text that are less than 40 words. Use double quotation marks within single quotation marks to set off material that in the original source was enclosed in single quotation marks. Do not use quotation marks to enclose block quotations (any quotations of 40 or more words).
